These protein cookies as a snack are delicious and will satisfy any sweet craving you may have. They give me prolonged energy and are my favorite afternoon pick-me-up.
Some people do not like to bake cookies because they’re messy. But these cookies can be made in a blender and ready to be placed in the oven in under 5 minutes! Once taken out of the oven, allow to cool and enjoy! They can also be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Although in my house, they didn’t even last a day!

Why should we eat protein cookies? There are many reasons why protein is important for us, so why not get those benefits through a cookie? Of course, there are many protein-rich foods, such as meat, nuts, protein shakes etc, but let’s be honest – we all need a treat in our lives!

Major brands produce protein cookies which are high calorie and are loaded with sugar. Therefore, I wanted to create an easy low calorie, high protein cookie recipe. Ingredients

- 3 cups of oats
- ½ tsp Baking powder
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ cup protein powder (I used vanilla)
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ⅓ cup of chosen milk (I used soya)
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
- Firstly, place the oats, baking powder, salt, brown sugar
and protein powder into a blender and pulse until it looks like semi-fine flour. - Next, add the flour mix to a bowl and add the milk and oil and mix. Then stir in the chocolate chips.
- Line/grease a baking sheet, and form the dough into
3 inch cookies and arrange on the baking sheet. - Bake for 6 minutes. Place onto a cooling rack and allow to cool for at least 5 minutes before serving.
