As our lives become increasingly busier whilst children aren’t in school, it can almost feel impossible to fit a regular workout in. The Trainers wants to help everyone to prioritise their health in the easiest way possible. Could you spare 10 minutes a day? Even if this is only 5 times a week that still adds up to nearly an hour of added exercise a week. Try our home workout below.

Our number 1 tip to our clients is to schedule your home workouts. Just as you would place a 10-minute doctor’s appointment in your diary, do the same for your workouts. That way you are being held accountable, you will not ‘run out of time’ as you are now prioritising you and your health. 

Try this 10-minute bodyweight routine in the comfort of your own home. It involves 0 pieces of equipment, so, therefore, NO EXCUSES! As you become stronger you can increase the number of repetitions and the number of sets to increase the intensity. After a week of completing your pencilled in workouts, you’ll begin to realises that fitness does not require spending hours aimlessly in the gym. Completing this short and effective home workout can have huge benefits too. 

The Trainers home workout – Complete each exercise with 10-15 repetitions. Complete the circuit 3-5 times with as little rest as possible. 

  1. Star Jumps 
  2. Lateral (Side) Lunge 
  3. Bodyweight Squats 
  4. Lunches 10-15 each Leg 
  5. Mountain Climbers 
  6. Push-Ups 
  7. Tricep Dips 
  8. Sit-ups 
  9. Leg Raises 
  10. Elbow Plank (10-15 seconds)
